The management of Epilepsy in resource-limited settings is challenged by a critical shortage of health personnel with training in Epilepsy assessment and Management. Any attempts to scale up treatment is met with this critical shortage. Consequently, many patients with epilepsy are being managed either by health personnel with no training in Epilepsy or by traditional healers.

With this backdrop, we will be organizing a free online training on Epilepsy assessment and Management for healthcare workers in resource-limited settings. This training will be done by a neurologists in the US and in Cameroon.

It is our hope that through this training, healthcare workers in these settings will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to provide adequate care and treatment for people living with Epilepsy.
