Training on first aid for seizures for secondary school students have been completed at Bamenda.

First aid for seizures is an important skill that has saved the lives of many people having a convulsion or seizure. Sadly, many people do not possess this skill and consequently, they do not know how to respond when someone is having a convulsion around them. There is a deep unmet need in seizure first aid education especially in countries with high Epilepsy prevalence.

Epilepsy and Aid Awareness Foundation (EAAF) Cameroon has  recently provided seizure first aid education to about 130 young people in Bamenda. It is our hope that with the knowledge and skills acquired, these young people will not only help people who are having a convulsion in their schools and communities, but will also educate other young people on First aid for seizures.
