Epilepsy Awareness and Aid Foundation (EAAF) Cameroon is a community-based non-profit organization which has as objectives; To raise awareness and educate the public about epilepsy.

To advocate in respect of the civil, employment, educational and health rights of people living with epilepsy; To increase social mobilization and empower people living with epilepsy; To promote prevention and early diagnosis and management of epilepsy! To provide continuous professional education and training so as to improve service quality; To reduce epilepsy stigma through education; To increase the number of community epilepsy advocates who are working toward change

Socioeconomic empowerment of women and girls living with epilepsy.(SEEWGE)

Aid for Children with Epilepsy (ACh-LE)

Digital campaigns on social media.

Community outreaches

Health talks on local and national media outlets.

School programs

Training of health workers on epilepsy assessment and Management.

Creation of support groups for people living with epilepsy.

Provision of medical assistance to people living with epilepsy

ACHIEVEMENTS RECORDED

195, 000 persons sensitized and educated on epilepsy using national and local media outlets, school programs and digital health campaigns on social media.

350 persons living with epilepsy assisted medically.

4 children with epilepsy sponsored to school

255 health workers trained

3 support groups for people living with epilepsy created

4 Women and girls with epilepsy empowered.
