EAAF Cameroon has given 46 women with Epilepsy hands-on skills on Omo production as well as financial start-up capital to start their Businesses.
During the workshop, the women were also educated on Gender-based Violence.
They had the opportunity to participate in interactive group work on Gender-based Violence. They were also given free antiepileptic medications for 1 year.
The women were very happy saying that it was the first time they were being shown so much attention and love.
According to the CEO and Founder of EAAF Cameroon, the Socioeconomic Empowerment workshop and implementation of this project with women with epilepsy is made posible thanks to support from the Disability Inclusive Humanitarian Action project of the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services.
