We are happy to share that we have been selected to receive the 2023 Brain Awareness Week grant. The Brain Awareness Week Grant is awarded to organizations that demonstrate a commitment to raising awareness about brain health and promoting education about neurological disorders. We were awarded the grant to carry out a one-week campaign coined “Demystifying Epilepsy and other Brain Disorders through Brain Awareness and Education.” During this campaign, we will host a series of educational events and workshops to debunk common myths surrounding epilepsy and other brain disorders.With the help of this grant, we will be able to carry out our mission of educating people about epilepsy, reducing stigma, and promoting early diagnosis and treatment. We are excited to use this opportunity to expand our outreach efforts and make a lasting impact in Africa.
